Our Story

Mission: The Renaissance City Chargers Athletic Association, (RCCAA), is a Detroit based nonprofit organization specializing in the following categories: life coaching programs, career development, talent acquisition, academic development, counseling, mentoring, and sport programs. We currently manage the Renaissance City Chargers Football Team. This team is comprised of young men ages 18-30 that reside in the metro-Detroit area. All football players are required to exemplify athletic, academic, and professional excellence. In addition, they are required to participate in community service endeavors in an effort to help rebuild our city. Our organization is fully committed to helping them elevate to the next level. Our primary goal is to help young men with diverse backgrounds obtain a sustainable and positive future by developing opportunities that will enable them to advance in their collegiate, athletic and professional careers. We are the Renaissance City Chargers, rebirthing the City of Detroit, one man at a time.

Vision: The Renaissance City Chargers Athletic Association, (RCCAA) is a movement rooted in the City of Detroit. We believe in the rebirth and the revitalization of the city. Our organization will significantly contribute to Detroit’s rebirth, starting with the young men and the youth currently residing in this poverty-stricken city. RCCAA will enable young men to excel athletically, professionally and academically. We strive to provide young men with the opportunity to develop and enhance their future. Our primary goal is to reveal their true potential by showing them how they are capable of competing for collegiate, athletic and professional advancement. The RCCAA has a vested interest in the future of our youth and young men; by providing them with a positive, productive and diverse environment we are empowering them to rise above adversity and conquer their personal obstacles.
